Make Every Note Count – Brass Workshop with Eric Probst

Make Every Note Count is a practical workshop with Kitchener-based trombone and tuba player and educator Eric Probst, focused on getting the most out of your brass practice time. Learn how to structure an effective practice session, identify and solve technical problems, and build fundamentals efficiently without simply putting in more hours. Through practical exercises and demonstrations, Eric will share strategies that can help players at any level practice with greater focus, consistency, and results.
Eric Probst is a professional low brass player and educator with nearly 20 years of teaching and clinical experience. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Tuba Performance from the University of Toronto and a Master of Music in Tuba Performance and Pedagogy from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and has studied at the Glenn Gould School. He performs throughout Southern Ontario with ensembles including the Wellington Wind Symphony and Brassroots, and teaches low brass at the Laurier Academy of Music and Arts.
Private lessons with Eric will be available after the workshop.
