SUMMARY:Big Band Open Rehearsal Fall Season
DESCRIPTION:Come see the Guelph Jazz Society Big Band in action at an open rehearsal! This is a chance for anyone in the community to get a behind-the-scenes look at how a big band works\, hear the music come together\, and learn more about the players\, the rehearsal process\, and how you can get involved. \nJoin the Guelph Jazz Society Big Band for an open rehearsal\, where community members can either bring an instrument and sit in with the band\, or simply sit back and listen to the rehearsal process. The band runs democratically in the Ellingtonian tradition\, giving musicians a voice in shaping the music and the sound of the ensemble without the interference of a rehearsal director.
